Teenagers think they know everything and they are wiser and knowledgeable than their parents. It is a wrong notion as they cannot compete with the experience of their parents. This experience comes with age and the things that they have gone through. They must have faced many challenges in life and this has taught them a number of things that make them capable of handling issues. Teenagers might know more about the technological gadgets and their use but it is only through their parents guidance that they can understand what happens when technology is misused. Being good at a few things like operating a computer or a mobile better than the parents does not prove that they are wiser and aware of the things around them. In no way can there be a competition between experience and ignorance.

This topic depends on the area of interest you seek for. As the current world is dealing with gadgets and their implementation, fellows with abundant time can dedicate on these. Whereas elders are busy with their own work either in minting money or household. But when u deal with morale and implementing ideas of old scripts it's undoubtedly elders who are more knowledgeable than teenagers. It's even due to the degree of adaptability to the rapid changing era which makes teenagers to be more knowledgeable than parents.
