Solution:

Tegwan' Brother = Sisters = X

Total in family = X + X + 1    ( 1 is for Tegwan)

= 2X + 1

Total Brothers = X  , Total Sisters = X + 1

Brother has  X - 1  Brothers  ( 1 brother himself is subtracted)

and X + 1 Sisters     ( 1 for Tegwan)

X + 1 = (X - 1) + (50/100)(X - 1)

=> X + 1  = (X - 1) (3/2)

=> 2X + 2 = 3X - 3

=> X = 5

Total in Family = 2X + 1

= 2(5) + 1

= 10 + 1

= 11

11 children are in Tegwen's family
