Yes I agree that it's used for both the purposes. TV has been a part of entertainment & education from very long. You watch movies, cartoons, songs etc... for entertainments but at the same time it's very essential to balance it properly. Entertainment is needed but our focus on other works shall also be maintained. We already know the reality many our just addicted to Entertainment especially teenagers of today and are totally drown in it. Well TV is mainly used for entertainment more than education. Very few people watch TV for educational purpose like upon animals, birds, environment etc...
