Explanation:

a) Water fire extinguishers are used to extinguish class A fires, or in other words fires involving flammable solids such as paper, wood, and textile materials. ... Water is a conductor of electricity, and as such it could cause extreme damage if a water fire extinguisher is used.

b)Carbon dioxide extinguishes work by displacing oxygen, or taking away the oxygen element of the fire triangle. The carbon dioxide is also very cold as it comes out of the extinguisher, so it cools the fuel as well.

c)Sodium bicarbonate is used in most dry fire extinguishers. When dispensed, the products absorb heat, decompose to form fire smothering carbon dioxide, and release free radicals which interrupt the flame chain reaction mechanism.
