Take LCM,

Since, as denominators are same numerators will get subtracted  

⇒(2x-4)/(3(x-2))

Observe in numerator i.e; (2x-4) we can take 2 as common = 2(x-2)

⇒(2(x-2))/(3(x-2))

Now we can cancel 'x-2' in both numerator & denominator

⇒2/3

∴ 2x/(3(x-2)) - 4/(3(x-2)) = 2/3
