After selected to the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) through the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) of India, candidates will undergo training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie for a period of three months where he/she will be designated as Foreign Service Probationer/ Officer Trainee.
