Tell in terms of bond length why h2s is more acidic than h20

Answer:

H²S is more acidic than H²O as

H-S-H

H-O-H.

H²S we can see than it does not have any OH- ions so it makes H²S acidic.

But in case of water it has both H+ and OH- ions so both neutralize each other hence water is neutral.

Oxygen is more electronegative than sulphur.

In H2O ,the oxygen atraacts the hydrogen strongly due to it's high electronegativity while in H2S ,Sulphur is not able to hold the hydrogen tightly Than oxygen ,so it's bond size is more as compared to H2O
