Empowerment means having authority or power of doing something such as taking decisions or making some activities happen. In our country, there is a superior evil called patriarchal behavior. This system harms us and our nation in several ways. Women are born with equal rights as men; god has not made anyone superior and inferior on basis of gender. We people make this difference and discriminations on the ground of gender. Female are always the second priority in India for every task. From birth to death women face many discriminations and atrocities. For abolishing this system women should be empowered.As women empowerment increases, gender discrimination is decreasing and it maintains gender equality. Women get rights to choose their career and lead it. They are good decision makers. There are almost 50% of women in our country, if they get employed then it will be beneficial for them and the country too. Women empowerment will help in building self-confidence to women. It makes women more powerful and able to face any challenges in life, to overcome the disabilities and inequalities. It will make women more knowledgeable and smart to stand in this competitive world today.
