SOLUTION :

As we can see in the picture, there is a triangle with an angel labbled 3x° and there is also a straight line where 2 angles are marked : 7x° & 100°

FINDING THE ANGLES OF THE TRIANGLE :

=> 3x + x + x = 180° [ sum of a triangle ]

=> 5x = 180°

=> x = 180/5

=> x = 36°

VERIFICATION :

=> 3 × 36° + 36 + 36 = 180

=> 108 + 72 = 180

=> 180° = 180°

FINDING THE VALUE OF THE 2 UNKNOWN ANGLES ON THE GIVEN STRAIGHT ANGLE :

=> 7x° + 100° = 180° [ sum of a straight angle ]

=> 7x = 180 - 100

=> 7x = 80

=> x = 80/7

=> x = 11.42
