In some rare cases, some flowers growing close to the ground do not open at all. Such a condition is known as cleistogamy(cleisto means closed)

Geitonogamy is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower of the same plant

Some flowers are self-pollinated even before the opening of flower such condition is called as cleistogamy.
