  1. Firstly, JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted for admissions into IITs, IIITs, NITs, and another government engineering/architecture colleges in India.
  2. The exam is held into two papers, one JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is organized by National Testing Agency twice a year in computer-based mode. Earlier CBSE used to conduct this paper. On the other hand, JEE Advanced is conducted by any one of the IITs under the guidance of JAB in computer-based mode.
  3. JEE Main (January and April attempts) will have two papers, Paper-1 (B.E/B. Tech) and Paper-2 (B. Arch/B. Planning). They can either take one of the two papers or even both papers depending upon the courses they are seeking admissions into. JEE Main paper-1 tests the knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry while Paper-2 tests Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. The questions are objective type.
  4. For details like eligibility criteria, important dates, syllabus, list of qualifying examinations, reservations, result, choice, and pattern of examination, exam centers, etc. You should read the information bulletin released by NTA (https://jeemain.nic.in/WebInfo/Handler/FileHandler.ashx?i=File&ii=32&iii=Y) on its official website. Cracking JEE Main will help you sit for JEE Advanced.
  5. JEE Advanced also has two papers and both the papers are compulsory. Each paper is of 3 hours duration and will have questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.  If you clear this paper, you will get admission into the undergraduate programs at the Indian Institute of Technology.
  6. You can get complete information about the upcoming JEE Advanced at https://jeeadv.ac.in/.

Hope this helps!
