Popularly know as Saint Mother Teresa


Life : 27th of August 1910 to  5 September 1997


Born in : Skopje

St. Teresa was a great humanitarian, an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun who was moved by the suffering of poor around the world. She devoted her life to serving the poor and destitute around the world.

She spent many years in Calcutta, India where she founded the Missionaries of Charity.

In year 1979, Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, "for work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty and distress, which also constitutes a threat to peace."


She was canonized as Saint Teresa of Calcutta in 2016.

Mary Teresa, born in 26th August, Skopje. She commonly known as the Mother Teresa and honoured in the Roman Empire Catholic Church for her good deeds. Mary Teresa was a saint but later she became a Nun. She belongs from India and Ottoman.

She was the Founder of 'Missionaries Charity' a church where she helped the poor womens.

She has been awarded by many national awards such as, Nobel Peace Prize, Order of the Smile, Bharat Ratna Award, Golden Honour of the Nation, Padma Bhushan etc.
