Hello!!

Surface Mass Density:-

It is an expression of the surface area of a feature divided by the reference space volume. Estimation is obtained by counting intersections of test line probes and the relevant surface of interest.

Volume:-

It is the amount of space that a substance or object occupies, or that is enclosed within a container.

Mass :-

A measure of how much matter is in an object. This gold bar is quite small but has a mass of 1 kilogram (about 2.2 pounds), so it contains a lot of matter.

Density:-

Density is a measure of the amount of information on a storage medium.

Hope it helps you... ☺️

Surface mass density: The area density (also known as areal density, surface density, superficial density, areic density, mass thickness, column density, or density thickness) of a two-dimensional object is calculated as the mass per unit area.

The SI derived unit is: kilogram per square metre (kg. m−2).

Linear mass density: It is the amount of mass per unit length. Just as ordinary density is mass per unit volume, linear density is mass per unit length. Linear densities are usually used for long thin objects such as strings for musical instruments.

Hope this helps!
