Ranked second in the world for Art and Design (2019 QS World University Rankings®), University of the Arts London (UAL) offers an extensive range of foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Our six Colleges offer courses in art, design, screen, communication, fashion, media and performing arts.
At UAL, we currently have over 150 students from all over Canada studying with us as part of our internationally diverse student community.
You can find out more about joining our creative community by joining us at events in Canada, or getting in touch with our local representative. We make regular visits to Canada each year for student seminars, workshops and applicant interviews. We also have a representative based in Canada; Jess Gill. She is there to help you with the application process, including visa and immigration advice.

If you're currently studying for a bachelor's degree, you may wish to consider participating in one of our three Study Abroad programmes. Study Abroad is an excellent opportunity for Canadian students to experience University level education in art and design-related subjects in the UK as well as potentially earning transfer credits back in their home institutions.
Events in Canada
Our academic staff travel to Canada every year to attend education fairs, deliver workshops and visit schools around the country. These events give students an opportunity to meet us, find out about studying at UAL, learn how to prepare a portfolio and discuss their application in person.
Cities we’ve visited in the past include Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Victoria and Vancouver.
