this rat hunt was started by vietnamese in 1902. the french hierd vietnamese workers and paid them for each rat they caught . rat was caught in thousands and they receive money as a reward so they started to make plans the rat catcher took to just clipping the tails of rat and release them because bounty was paid when a tail was given as proof . so, this process could be repeated over and over again and some people raising rat to earn bounty
