the happening of revolt of 1857 has many reasons: sepoy mutiny coz the hindu nd muslim soldiers r forced to use kartoos made up of cow's meat nd pig's meat , nd all the highest ranks r given 2 britishers , indians r not above than rank subedar, extraa tax took from the indians........dats r d main causes of revolt of 1857...
