The best book that I’ve come across is Educart question bank. This is the one I used for my preparation. What I love about this book is that it is updated according to the latest paper pattern and reduced syllabus of CBSE. It contains 100+ questions per chapter (objective questions like case/competency and assertion-reason based for term-1 examination) with detailed solutions which are more than enough for good preparation.

Other books that you can use are-

• NCERT- NCERT is not a book that you can neglect for your board exams. You should clear your basics using a book that is preferred by most of the CBSE schools and CBSE board toppers. The back exercises and in-text questions help you to clear your basics much more than any other book.

• NCERT Exemplar- This book contains conceptual questions that are more difficult than the NCERT questions, so practising through this can give an edge over others.
