Hormones:-
- Hormones are produced by endocrine glands.
- They are carried by blood to the part of the body to give the signal to the cells and tissues.
- It is chemical messenger that signals cells and tissues to perform the particular function.
- These are diffusible.
- They are not dependent on enzymes or any other thing.
- The hormones get affected by the factor of age.
- Examples:- insulin, adraline, etc.
Enzymes:-
- Enzymes are produced by exocrine glands.
- They perform the action where they are produced.
- These are catalyst which helps in the enhancement of the reaction.
- They are not diffusible.
- They are produced only when they get message with the help of hormones.
- There is not any effect on enzymes of age or any other factors.
- Examples are:- saliva, etc.
