Density is the mass per volume of a substance (Unit-kg/m^3).
Relative Density is the ratio of density of a substance to the density of water (commonly taken as 1000 kg/m^3).
Relative density doesn’t have a unit (provided both the densities are in the same unit), as it is a ratio of two similar properties
