Prokaryotic cells are defined as the cells which have the primitive nucleus. Pro- primitive and karyotic- nucleus. These cells has incipient nucleus and do not possess nuclear membranes. Hence the genetic material of the cell is just scattered in the cell. The best examples of Prokaryotic cells are Bacteria, Virus, etc.
