Answer:

Explanation:

5 A:Meritematic tissue

A meristem is a tissue in plants that consists of undifferentiated cells (meristematic cells) capable of cell division. Meristems give rise to various tissues and organs of a plant and are responsible for growth. Differentiated plant cells generally cannot divide or produce cells of a different type.

Location:Meristems are classified by their location in the plant as apical (located at root and shoot tips), lateral (in the vascular and cork cambia), and intercalary (at internodes, or stem regions between the places at which leaves attach, and leaf bases, especially of certain monocotyledons—e.g., grasses).

Function:Primary meristematic tissue helps the plant increase in length or vertical growth, meaning it helps the plant grow up toward the sun and down into the soil. Secondary meristematic tissue helps the plant increase the girth or lateral growth of its stems, branches, and roots.

5 B:Xylem:

Location:Xylem is located in roots, stems and leaves of the plant and it transports water and minerals from plant roots to aerial parts. With phloem it forms vascular bundles. Dead cells in Xylem contribute to wooden parts of the plant.

Function:Xylem is one of the two types of transport tissue in vascular plants, phloem being the other. The basic function of xylem is to transport water from roots to shoots and leaves, but it also transports some nutrients.

5 C:Striated muscles:

Location:Cardiac muscle cells are located in the walls of the heart, appear striated, and are under involuntary control.

Function:Striated muscles are highly organized tissues (Fig. 1) that convert chemical energy to physical work. The primary function of striated muscles is to generate force and contract in order to support respiration, locomotion, and posture (skeletal muscle) and to pump blood throughout the body (cardiac muscle).

Hope it helps
