Greetings..!

Let's have a look at the chart given :

1)3 2 = 7

2)5 4 = 23

3)7 6 = 47

4)9 8 = 79

5)10 9 = ?

we see,in all cases , there is multiplication between the two side by side numbers and then addition of a different number in every case.

In no 1) 3 × 2 = 7 (we know,3*2 = 6. Here 1 has been added to six to make it 7)

Likewise ,In no.2, 5 × 4 should be 20.but it is 23 as ''3'' has been added to it.The 3 has been taken from no 1's first digit.

In no 3 ) 7 × 6 should be 42.5 has been added to it to make it 47. here,5 has been taken from no 2 's first digit , which is 5 .

In no 4) 9 × 8 should be 72 but 7 has been added to it to make 79. here, 7 has been taken from no 3's first digit, which is 7.

SO,finally in no 5)10 × 9 = 90 . Now, we add to it no 4's first digit ,9 . So , 90 + 9 = 99

Answer is 99.
