Newton's First Law states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force.
It may be seen as a statement about inertia, that objects will remain in their state of motion unless a force acts to change the motion.
Hope it helps....

Answer:
Explanation:
There are Three laws of motion.
First law of Motion is :-
Any objects stays in state of rest or in state of motion unless compled to an external force.
Example :-
Books on table are at rest.
•It follows inertia .
•It is it’s tenedency to stay at rest or at motion .
•Mass is measure of Inertia
