Give Diameter of the cannonball d = 28cm.

Then the radius of the cannonball r = d/2

                                                             = 14cm.

We know that volume of the cannonball = 4/3pir^3

                                                                    = 4/3 * pi * (14)^3   --------- (1)

Given Diameter of the cone = 35cm.

We know that volume of the cone = 1/3pir^2h

                                                          = 1/3pi(35/2)^2h.   ------- (2)

On solving (1) & (2), we get

4/3 * pi * (14)^3 = 1/3 * pi * (35/2)^2 * h

h =  \frac{ \frac{4}{3} * 14 * 14 * 14 }{ \frac{1}{3} *  \frac{35}{2} *  \frac{35}{2}  }

h =  \frac{4 * 14 * 14 * 14 * 2 * 2}{35 * 35}

h =  \frac{43904}{1225}

h = 35.84cm.

Therefore the height of the cone h = 35.84cm.

Hope this helps!
