We know that a cube can be treated as a cuboid but a cuboid can't be treated as a cube....
So, here we can take example of a cube, which is also a cuboid....
So, let the length, breadth and height of the cuboid be 100m, 100m, 100m respectively.....
Now, it's said in the questions that the dimensions increase by 100 percent....
Therefore the new dimensions will be 200m, 200m, 200m...
Volume of the previous cuboid =(100*100*100)m³=1000000m³
Volume of the new cuboid =(200*200*200)m³=8000000m³
Therefore it is 8 times the precious one.....
