Good question!
In our daily life we face a lot of stress and anxiety. This is why we are not able to lead a peaceful life. By practicing meditation we can control our mind and body. Meditation is what we do meditating. If we do meditation our complete thought is put up on a single thing.
Everyday we face a lot of problems. So whenever we get problems like that which leads to stress and anxiety, just a few minutes of meditation gives us a lot of relaxation.
