There are 3 types of triangles,these are as follows:
•Equilateral (these triangles have all sides equal and all angles are equal)
•Isoceles (these triangles have any two sides equal and third side is different, similarly two angles are equal and third angle of third is different)
•Scalene(In this triangle all sides are different and all angle are equal)

Similar triangles...I hope you know about congruency of triangles so it a bit like that...Difference between similar and congruence is two things are called congruence if they are coincide or exactly same in every aspect while two things are called similar based upon their structure...like a cricket ball and a football are similar but not congruent...same with triangles
