Out of two elements potassium and sodium the one which can lose electron easily is potassium.

Both potassium and sodium belong to same group so they have same outer configuration both have one electron in the outer shell.

Potassium=2,8,8,1

Sodium=2,8,1

Down the group the effective nuclear charge decreases as number of shell increases so distance between nucleus and shell increases hence effective charge decreases hence potassium can lose electron very easily.
