Sub : Complaint about shortage of electricity, and water supply
This letter is to inform you about the shortage of electricity in our area. We are facing this problem since the past two months. There are many school and college students in our area. The students are unable to study in the evening without proper light facilities. Not only in the evening, we face this problem in the mornings and nights too. The are some small scale handloom industries in our area. Without the electricity they are unable to run the machines. We are not able to sleep well in the night too. In Sector 23, there is been no power supply for the last two days. The residents of Mumbai have to undergo untold sufferings due to frequent breakdowns of electricity. The helpless residents spend sleepless nights. There have been many thefts in the area. Please make sure that we receive sufficient amount of electricity daily.
Another grave problem which our area is suffering from since the last few days is shortage of water supply. We, the residents, are unable to get proper drinking water at our places after noon everyday. The various issues are arising from the municipality. We have sent drafts on the same numerous times but nothing is taken into consideration. Water should be supplied twice in all the localities. However, that has become once in a day since last 2 months. Even then, the valves are never opened loose which has led to the flow and pressure of water reducing day-by-day.
We would be highly obliged if steps on the same are taken as soon as possible as this is a very serious matter to be dealt upon. It might turn fatal soon so please look into the issue on an urgent notice.
