Explanation:

1)Each side of the Equilateral triangle=10 cm

Perimeter of the equilateral triangle=3×side

=>3×10

=>30 cm

and

If the side of the square is a units then the perimeter of the square=4a units

Given that

Perimeter of the equilateral triangle=Perimeter of the square

=>4a=30

=>a=30/4

=>a=7.5cm

Side of the square=7.5cm

2)Let the breadth be b units

length of the rectangle=(l)=12 cm

Perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

=>2(12+b)=38cm

=>12+b=38/2

=>12+b=19

=>b=19-12

=>b=7cm

Breadth of the rectangle=7cm

Explanation:

side of equilateral Triangle=10 cm

Perimeter =3×10=30 cm

A/Q

Perimeter of Sqare=30cm

but P=4a

so,30cm=4a

30/4=a

=7.5=a

so,side of square =7.5 cm

2)

Let the breadth be b

l=12 cm

Perimeter=38cm

but,P=2(l+b)

38cm=2(12+b)

38/2=12+b

19=12+b

19-12=b

7=b

so,breadth=7cm
