8.) Yes, this is because : Regionalism, communalism, religious fanaticism, lingualism and now terrorism are the main forces that challenge national integration. National integration is always under threat from with in the country as well as from outside.

Communalism: It is the biggest challenge to national integration and democracy. Threat of communal hat redness has shaken the very unity and integrity of our nation. Misinterpretation of religion by fundamentalists is said to be the chief reason of spreading the fire of communalism.

9.) As India is largely an agricultural economy, peasants are as important today as they were during the Mughal Empire. They cultivate land and grow crops without which we cannot survive. They pay land revenue to the government which is used in various development work. We cannot think of a sound economy without them. They are the backbone of the country.
