Rajya Sabha members are changed after every 6 years. But thing to be noticed is that 6 year is the tenure of every member of Rajya Sabha. But , 1/3 rd members of Rajya Sabha are changed after every 2 years.
Let, me explain this with more details.
It means if Rajya Sabha has 99 members, It doesn't have 99 I am giving an example. Then 33 members will be changed after 2 years and new will come. After next 2 years, the 33 members out of those 66 members will be changed and after another 2 years the left 33 will be changed. It means the whole Rajya Sabha tenure is 6 years. And also each member sits in Rajya Sabha for 6 years.
