Metals are the elements that are sonorous, lustrous, malleable, etc.
While non metals are those elements that are not sonorous, lustrous, etc.
While metalloids are those exceptional elements that have combined property of both a metal and a non metal.

Heya !!!!
here is your answer !!!
▶ Metal ( s ) :- metals have tendency to lose electron is known as metal .
⚫for example :- Mg ²+ , Na+ etc .
▶ metal are good conductor of electricity.
▶ metal are sonorous :- that is the property of metal through which they can produce sound.
▶ metal and ductile :- the property through which metal can be drawn into thin wire.
▶ metal are malleable :- the property through which they can be drawn into thin sheets .
▶ metal gives hydrogen ion with react with an acid.
▶ when metal react with oxygen IT form metal oxide.
that metal oxide is in basic of nature.
⚫ example of some metals are:-
Ca²+ .
Mg ²+
Ag
Cu²+.
etc ..
==================================
▶ Nonmetal :- non metal have tendency to gain electron is known as non metal.
⚫ it acquire negative charge because due to gain of electron.
⚫ in order to attend stability it try to gain electrons.
following are the property of non metal.
⚫ non metal are not ductile.
⚫ non metal are not malleable.
⚫ they are not good conductor of heat and electricity.
⚫ they are brittle in nature.
⚫ non metal react with oxygen to form non metal oxide which is generally of acidic in nature.
etc
➡ following are the example of some non metals
▶ Cl -
▶ O2-
etc .
================================
Metalloid :- metalloid show both property of metal as well as non metal.
▶. metalloid shows the both property of metal as well as non metal.
▶. they are found in P block in periodic table.
▶ some example of metalloid is:-
arsenic.
Germanium.
etc .
hope it helps you dear!!!
thanks
