Method : 1

Journey towards Ramgarh from Ambapur :

Amba-stop¹-stop²-stop³-stop⁴-stop⁵-stop⁶-stop⁷-stop⁸-stop⁹-stop¹⁰-Ram

Journey towards Ambapur from Ramgarh :

Amba-stop¹⁰-stop⁹-stop⁸-stop⁷-stop⁶-stop⁵-stop⁴-stop³-stop²-stop¹-Ram

if 4th stop is shahbad during the journey from ambapur to ramgarh then from the above we say that during the journey from ramgarh to ambapur shahbad is the 7th stop.

Method : 2

we can solve this even without diagram:

if there are ten stops between ambapur and ramgarh then including the stations ambapur and ramgarh there are total 12 stations then shahbad is 5th station when we count from ambapur. if it is 5th station from ambapur then there are total 7 stations to the right of ambapur including ramgarh. so shahbad is 8th station when we count from ramgarh including ramgarh and if ramgarh is excluded then shahbad is the 7th station.
