Mitochondria: They are the sites of cellular respiration and are called the powerhouse of the cell

Nucleus: It contains the genetic information in the form of genes located in the chromosomes

Golgi Apparatus: It helps in packaging and processing of various cellular secretions

Ribosomes: They help in the synthesis of proteins

Endoplasmic Reticulum: Production and secretion of steroidal hormones

Lysosomes: They help in the digestion of foreign material, suicidal bags of a cell

Vacuoles: It stores water and waste materials

Cytoplasm: It contains all the organelles

Chloroplasts: Involves in the process of photosynthesis

Nucleoid: It is found in the prokaryotic cell and contains genetic information

There are actually many more uses for each organelle, I just included the basic ones...Hope it helps
