let breadth be x than
a/q
length will be x+3 ,,
area of rectangle = l× b
l×b = 54
x+3 × x = 54
x²+3x = 54
x²+3x-54 = 0
x²+9x-6x-54 = 0
x(x+9)-6(x+9) = 0
x = 6 and x = -9
but breadth can't be -ve so , breadth = 6 m
so length = 3+6 = 9 m
