by first taking LCM we get it as:
3x + 3y = 1
it implies 3x + 3y - 1= 0 which is in the form of ax + by + c =0

x/2 + y/2 = 1/6
=> x/2 + y/2 - 1/6 = 0
=> ( 1/2 )x + ( 1/2 )y + ( -1/6 ) = 0
