This is a HUGE confusion created by NEET this year. The rank card shows two things:

Whether you have qualified NEET exam or notWhether you are eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process or not

Under Open category any student who has scored above 145 marks in NEET has qualified. Now there is no meaning of BEING QUALIFIED. There is no clarity for what a student has qualified. But what we understand is that this qualification means that you will be eligible for State govt. counselling process.

But the value is only if your marks card states that you are eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process. As per my understanding, the cut-off under General category is 487 marks (We are still not very sure but this is approx. estimation) for students to be eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process.
