Yes. The following statement is correct.
Golgi apparatus is a cell organelle which mainly helps in storage, modification and packaging of biomolecules. The proteins synthesize in Endoplasmic reticulum is send to golgi apparatus where it is modified and send to various sites within and outside the cell as needed. This function is similar to that of post office.
