Here's your answer...

x = 0.333333......
This is equation 1

Multiply with 10

10x= 3.333333.....
This is equation 2

Subtract equation 1 from equation 2

10x=3.3333.....
x = 0.3333....

9x=3
x= 3/9

Now....

y= 0.4444.....
This is equation 3

Multiply with 10.

10y = 4.4444......
This is equation 2

Subtract equation 1 from equation 2

10y = 4.4444....
y= 0.4444....
__________

9y = 4

y= 4/9

Sum of 0.3(bar over 3) and 0.4( bar over 4) is

3/9 + 4/9

7/9

Convert 7/9 into decimals....

This is 0.7(bar over 7)
