Carnivorous plants are those plants which do feed themselves by trapping or consuming animals or protozoans, typically insects and other Arthropods. Examples:- Pitcher plant, Insectivorous plants , Drosera binata, Drosera capensis, Venus flytrap, Nepenthes bicalcarata etc.

Explanation: Venus flytrap

It is divided into two parts with long hairs like teeth. when an insects come and sits in the plant, the two sides shut close and slowly digest the insect.

                       Pitcher plant

It is cylindrical in shape with its lamina as a lid. When an insect comes and sits on the rim of the plant, the lid (lamina) shuts and pushes the insect inside the hollow body of the plant and digests it.

                       Bladderwort

It lives inside shallow waters and has small bladder like attachings to it. When an insect enters this bladder, its enterence closes and traps the insect and digests it. I hope u liked it : )
