Height = 1 m
Angle of slope (elevation) = 30°

Then by applying for sin theta
sin \: {\theta} \: = \frac{perpendicular}{hypotenuese}
also
sin 30° = 1/2

then
perpendicular = 1 m = height

hypotenuse = length of ramp , let it be "X"

then by applying equation
sin\:30° = \frac{perpendicular}{hypotenuse} \\ \\ \frac{1}{x} = \frac{1}{2} \\ \\ = > x = 2
so length of ramp = 2 m
