x = 2

Explanation:

Given -

  •  {4}^{x}  +  {4}^{x} +  {4}^{x} = 48

To find -

  • x

Solution -

 {4}^{x}  +  {4}^{x} +  {4}^{x} = 48

Taking  {4}^{x} common ,

\longmapsto  {4}^{x} (1 + 1 + 1) = 48

\longmapsto  {4}^{x} (3) = 48

\longmapsto  {4}^{x}  \times 3 = 16 \times 3

Now dividing 3 on both sides ,

\longmapsto  \frac{  \large {4}^{x}  \times  \cancel 3}{ \large \cancel 3}  =  \frac{ \large 16 \times  \cancel 3}{ \large \cancel3}

\longmapsto   {4}^{x}  = 16

\longmapsto   {4}^{x}  =  {4}^{2}

On equating ,

\longmapsto    \orange { \boxed{x = 2}}
