even this same question I have also asked..so lemme tell you.. cerebellum is affected because it controls our body's Ballance and coordinates the movement of voluntary muscles like eyes , nose etc..

and why not cerebrum because it controls the mental activities.. and it is the centre for perception of pain , touch etc.. so no symptoms are there because if this all are effected then also you can walk straight but the question has ask why people have problems in walking straight and in driving so , that's only the reason
