Answer:

Scalar quantity is a quantity which have magnitude only but no directions for example when you buy sugar from shopkeeper you say give me 2kg sugar not give me 2kg sugar in South direction.

vector quantity is a quantity which have magnitude as well as direction for example displacement when you told someone the path you say bhaiya aage 100 m jao aur. here aage specifies direction.
