DISTANCE = SPEED ×TIME

speed of the object is 6m/s.

time take by object to travel from A to B is 6seconds.

DISTANCE = 6m/s × 6seconds

= 36metre

Therefore distance travelled by object from A to B is 36 meters..

Explanation:

Area of region Would be the distance travelled by the body

From O to A distance will be ar of ∆.

so ar of∆ =1/2*B*H

1/2*4*6

=12unit²

From A-B distance will be area of rectangle below it

Ar of Rect=L*B=(10-4)*6=36 unit²

From B-C Distance will be traingle's area

=1/2*6*6=18unit²

Therefore the Body travelled a Distance of

=12+36+18

=66unit²

Thank you
