Answer:

the divisibility rule of:-

a) 2= if the last digit of the number is divisible by 2 it means the whole number is divisible by 2

For ex. 84 is a number

the last digit is 4 that is divisible by 2 So, 84 is divisible by 2

b) 3 and 9

if the sum of the numbers is divisible by 3 or 9

It means the whole number is divisible

For ex. 27

2+7= 9

9 also comes in the multiplication table of 3 and 9

ex. 24

2+4= 6

6 comes in the table of 3 so it is divisible by 3

c) 4

if the last two digits is divisible by 4 it means the whole number is divisible by 4

for ex. 220

the last two digits are:-

20

20÷4=5

So, 220 is divisible by 4

d) 5

if the last digit is 5 or 0 so it is divisible

for ex. 205

the last digit is 5 so it is divisible by 5

e) 8

if the last three digits are divisible by 8 it means the number is divisible by 8

for ex. 7136

the last 3 digits 136 divisible by 8

so it is divisible by 8

f) 10

if the last digit is 0 it means the number is divisible by 10

for ex. 30

the last digit is 0

so the number is divisible

g) 11

divide the number into two parts odd and even

suppose the number is 2990044

take 2_9_0_4

in odd group

and take_9_0_4_

in even group

Now add both groups

So,

Odd=2+9+0+4=15

Even= 9+0+4= 13

Subtract the products= 15-13=2

the number should be 0 after subtacting the products.

so this number is not divisible by 11
