plants need sunlight for photosynthesis as plants are exposed to large area of sunlight we dont see them bending towards it but if we put it in a box with a small hole the sunlight will have small area and thus plant will bend towards it

see if you need ans. in detail then there is a hormone named auxin that helps in the bending of plant towards sunlight

the plant will not grow entirely as it does need of some water as well as light both will make it grown
