Consider AC and BC  capacitors are  in series and their combined capacitance are in parallel with AB capacitor.

Let's solve it:

Firstly find equivalent capacitance between AC and BC;

AC=2 microfarad

BC=2 microfarad

In series,equivalent capacitance is found by reciprocation

1/C=1/2μF + 1/2μF

1/C=1μF

and C= 1μF

This equivalent capacitance is in parallel with AB capacitor.

In parallel combination,just capacitances are added.

So,

equivalent Capacitance = 1μF + 2μF

                                        =3 μF

Its so simple you can consider any of two capacitors in series then the equivalent capacitance of this combination is in parallel combination and you get your required answer.

So,Equivalent capacitance=3 μF
