vector P - vector Q = vector S
let p=vector P,q=vector Q,r=vector R,s=vector S
Calculation
r^2+s^2=[p+q]^2+[p-q]^2

(p+q)^2= p^2+q^2+2pq -----1

(p-q)^2= p^2+q^2-2pq -----2

adding 1 and 2
we get
2p^2+2q^2 = 2(p^2+q^2)
